Dammam City
Location :
Located at the Coastal strip of the Arabian Gulf to
the North , and bordered by the Gulf from the three
directions , North , East and South , from the West
bordered by Al Dahna desert .

Historical General
View:
Some
researchers see that Dammam area had been inhabited
since the ends of the Stone Age, as settled
monuments are found , it was thought that it is
existed at ( Aiyn Al Seeh ) located thirteen
kilometers south of Al Khobar city , Dammam city
started to appear after the exploration of petrol at
the beginnings of 30s , inhabitant began to move to
it from all regions of the Kingdom specially from
the south as it embodied many of the Kingdom
citizens from all regions , gradually Dammam became
an important commercial center in the region . The
first who reside in Dammam is Dawasser tribe about
1923 as they built their houses from the palm tree
branches and mud.
